Pre-reservation confirmation information

Prior consent before booking

  1. Please read and agree to all of the following terms and conditions before making a reservation or using the facility.
  2. We will confirm your consent when you make a reservation. You will also be asked to sign a consent form when you check in.
  3. Reservations can be made up until 9:00 AM on the day of use.
    • ◎ Making reservations for multiple days close together and then cancelling one of them at the last minute will inconvenience other customers.
    • ◎We will strictly refuse any duplicate reservations or tentative reservations made under different names for family members or companions.
    • ◎Duplicate reservations made under family names, etc. may be cancelled.
    • ◎If you have a large number of malicious cancellations, we may refuse you future use of our services.

Lake Shikotsu Rules

The Lake Shikotsu Rules are local rules that were decided upon by local residents and related organizations to ensure that all users can enjoy Lake Shikotsu comfortably as its uses become more diverse.
(These rules apply to the entire Lake Shikotsu area, but some of them do not apply to the Bifuki Campground.)

Lake Shikotsu is located within Shikotsu-Toya National Park. The following is stipulated within the national park by the Natural Parks Act.

  1. A permit is required for powered boats.
  2. The installation of structures is prohibited
  3. Non-powered boats must be launched from the following locations:

    Morup Campground (fee required)

    *Please contact the manager of each facility for information on launch conditions.
    *Non-powered boats: paddle sports (canoe, SUP, kayak), rubber boats, yachts, windsurfing, etc.
  4. Please be sure to wear a life jacket.
    *Excluding swan boats with a safety system in place
    *Life jackets are available for free rental at Bifuki Campsite.
    If you would like to rent, please come to the Center House.
  5. Do not enter or approach the paths of sightseeing boats.
    *Please check the diagram on the right for the sightseeing boat route.
    *This does not apply to Bifuki Campsite.
  6. Please refrain from fly fishing in public areas.
  7. When using open flames, always use gas appliances such as stoves.
    *This does not apply to Bifuki Campsite.
  8. When using parasols or pop-up tents for shade, please be considerate of those around you.
    *This does not apply to Bifuki Campsite.
  9. When using waterside facilities or playing in the water,Wearing a life jacketWe recommend the following.
  10. If you wish to use a drone, please consult with the facility manager in advance.
  11. Please take responsibility for any trash you generate during your stay.
  12. Please keep your pet on a lead at all times.
  13. Please follow the instructions of the facility manager.
  14. Parking on the shoulder of the road is dangerous. Please use a parking bay or parking lot.
  15. Please refrain from any behavior that may cause inconvenience to other lake users or local residents so that everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay.

For those using the Bifuki Campsite
Request to customers

Thank you for using the Bifuki Campground. Please observe the following rules when using the campground.

  1. Check-in is from 11:00 to 19:00, and check-out is from 7:00 to 10:00 on the day of departure.
    For day trips, the opening time is until 7pm.
  2. If you check out after the scheduled time, an additional fee will be charged.Please be sure to follow these rules.
    The facility entrance will be closed from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning. Please note that vehicles will not be able to enter or leave the facility during this time.
  3. Open flames are prohibitedPlease use equipment such as a fire pit or a stove with legs to prevent charcoal from falling to the ground.
    Considering the impact of fires, lakeside beaches and lawns,A fixed placePlease do not dispose of it with other combustible garbage as this is extremely dangerous.
  4. Please be careful with fire. Smoking while walking and littering are prohibited.
  5. Fireworks that do not have a fixed destination, such as launch fireworks, rocket fireworks, and firecrackers, as well as fireworks that make loud noises, are prohibited.
    Handheld fireworks for children are OK. When using them, please be careful not to cause trouble to others by avoiding crowds or tents. Also, please prepare a bucket of water for extinguishing the fire. Please end the fireworks by 9 p.m. and clean up after yourself.
  6. After 9 p.m., please be considerate of other guests and refrain from talking loudly and keeping the volume of television, radio, music, etc. down.
  7. Please drive slowly at all times within the facility. The facility, including the roads, is like driving through a park where children play, so please be extremely careful when driving around.

  8. Please treat each facility, equipment, and fixture with care. If any is damaged or lost, you will be required to pay the actual cost.
  9. Pets must be kept on a leash. Leaving pets unattended is prohibited.Pet owners must clean up any pet droppings.
  10. Please take your trash home with you as much as possible. If you have to throw away trash, please separate it and dispose of it in the designated trash area.
  11. Bringing in generators, karaoke or other audio equipment, radio-controlled cars (including drones), jet skis, boats with engines, and dangerous objects is prohibited without exception.
  12. We will keep any lost property for three months, but if you do not claim it, we will dispose of it.
  13. Please note that we cannot take any responsibility for any accidents, troubles, theft, etc. that occur within the venue.
  14. Any conduct that violates morals or manners, causes inconvenience to other customers, or is dangerous is prohibited. If you do not follow the instructions of staff, you may be refused entry.
    • Please be careful to avoid water accidents. In particular, if you have children with you, please make sure to keep an eye on them at all times.
      Lake Shikotsu isAs you move away from the shoreline, the water suddenly becomes deeper.So please be very careful.
    • Drinking alcohol, lack of sleep, etc.Entering the water while wearing a mask is extremely dangerous, so please do not do so under any circumstances.
    • Although we take daily precautions to prevent dangerous trees and other natural environment hazards, unpredictable natural phenomena (such as fallen trees) may occur.
      Please use this campsite with this in mind.

Terms and conditions for reservations

  1. The unit of use for the reservation site isOne reservation required per vehicleis.
    If you have two cars, you will need to make two reservations.
    Payment at reception is for each vehicleIt will be.
    • Maximum 8 people per car. For more than 8 people, separate reservations are required.
    • Please note that due to the system of our reservation site, the reservation confirmation screen will only show the usage fee per person.

  2. For those who wish to stay overnight and take a day trip,Please make sure to make reservations for both overnight stays and day trips.
  3. This campsite isReservations must be made online. Reservations cannot be made over the phone.If there is availability on the day, you can use the facility, so please contact the facility directly.
    Please note that this is not a reservation for a lakeside area, forest area, etc.
    • Please refrain from overbooking our campsite and from cancelling without notice.
      If we find that you have made excessive reservations or cancelled without notice, we will not be able to accept any future reservations.
  4. Changes to reservation detailsChanges (such as number of people and car number) can be made on the reservation website, but they can also be made at the counter on the day.
  5. Please note that we cannot provide refunds due to customer convenience.
    • Except when closed due to natural disasters, etc.
  6. If you wish to cancel, please be sure to log in using the reservation completion email and complete the cancellation procedure.
    • Cancellations must be made by 9:00 on the day of the reservation.
