Below are some frequently asked questions we receive from customers at the Midori Campground.
Please use this as a reference when using the service.

- What are the business hours?
- Open from early May to late October.
Please note that in the event of bad weather, admission may be restricted to ensure safety.
The campsite will be closed if a storm warning, heavy rain warning, or other warning is issued, if a typhoon approaches, if unforeseen strong winds occur, if there are changes in the weather that make the campsite dangerous, or if a state of emergency is declared due to the global situation. -
- What is check-in and check-out?
- Check-in is from 11:00 to 19:00.
Check-out is from 7:00 to 10:00.
In addition, the campsite gates are closed and locked every day at 7:00 PM. Please note that you will not be able to bring your car in or out until the gates reopen at 7:00 AM the following morning. -
- Can I go shopping etc. after checking in?
- You can enter and exit the campground. Please remember to bring your campground pass when you leave. (It is necessary for re-entry.)
In addition, the campsite gates are closed and locked every day at 7:00 PM. Please note that you will not be able to bring your car in or out until the gates reopen at 7:00 AM the following morning. -
- Are pets allowed?
- Pets are allowed in, but please make sure they are kept in a cage or on a leash.
There is no extra charge for pets.
Please be careful not to bark unnecessarily and take care of your pet's waste so as not to cause trouble for other guests. If your pet causes any trouble, the owner is responsible for all of it. *Entry into the center house is prohibited. -
- Can I make a reservation?
- Yes, we require reservations online. Reservations cannot be made over the phone.
Reservations can be made up until 9:00 AM on the day of use.
If there is availability on the day, you can use it. -
- Want to have a bonfire?
- It is prohibited to make bonfires directly on the sandy beach, such as by the lake, or on the ground within the facility.
When using fire, please be sure to use a fire pit and fire sheet. -
- Do you want to set off fireworks?
- Only hand-held fireworks are permitted.
Please avoid crowds and tents and be careful not to cause trouble to other customers.
Please be sure to clean up your trash.
Please finish by 9pm. -
- Is there a place to throw away trash?
- Although there is a trash bin, we ask that you please take your trash home with you as much as possible. We also ask for your cooperation in separating trash for collection.

- Is there power?
- No.

- Are there any bungalows or other facilities?
- No.
Within the tent site there are two cooking buildings, two flush toilet buildings, and a center house. -
- Are there any shops?
- Located in the center house.
Business hours are 8:00am-7:00pm (hours change depending on the season and there are some closed days).
We sell instant foods, sweets, alcoholic beverages, seasonings, ice, charcoal, firewood, miscellaneous goods, and more.
Juice can be purchased from the vending machine corner (24 hours).
We do not sell tobacco. -
- Is there a bathroom?
- There are hot water showers in the center house. They cost 100 yen per person per use.
Available from 8:00 to 19:00 (last entrance 18:30) -
- Is there laundry etc?
- There are two washing machines and two dryers in the center house.
The washing machine costs 200 yen per use and the dryer costs 100 yen per use.

After use, please collect the items promptly for the next user. -
- What is the payment method?
- Please pay in cash to the manager when you check in. We do not accept credit cards.

- Is there designated parking at the campsite?
- The site is an open space (cars can enter), so you can park in any available spot.

- If the representative enters first, can family and friends enter after the venue is full?
- We are currently at full capacity due to capacity limits, so we will be unable to accommodate you.

- Reservation unit
- The unit of use for one reservation on this site is approximately one car, one tent (plus one tarp), and a maximum of eight people. If you will be using two or more tents, two or more cars, or nine or more people, we ask that you please make separate reservations for each unit of use.
